I want to see the council focused on the needs of its residents and ratepayers; to concentrate on its core services – and not be distracted by ideological issues of the day. These are issues for the State and Federal Government – not the council.

Are you a resident of the City of Moonee Valley? See Map. If so, you are eligible to vote in the up coming City of Moonee Valley Council elections on October 26th, 2024. If you reside in the area highlighted in green on the map, your ward is the Airport Ward. This is the ward in which I am a candidate. Voting will be conducted via postal ballot with ballot papers mailed approximately one month prior to election day.

David Wright is a small manufacturing business owner. He has had extensive experience in a range of industries primarily covering information technology for the banking and finance industries – both in Australia and overseas.
Although he worked in the information technology industry for most of his professional life, David trained as a civil engineer receiving first class honours from Melbourne University. He also received general excellence awards on completing (as was known then) Higher School Certificate – one for general excellence and one for mathematics.
